Tympanometry

This device will check the health of your middle-ear system. The device applies a slight air pressure that will take a few seconds and your middle-ear (eardrum and the small bones) should move gently with the applied pressure. You will feel as if your ear is slightly blocked during the test.

Puretone Audiometry

This test is conducted in a soundproof booth or room. You will hear beeps of different pitches and tones at various intensities, and we will determine the softest sounds you can hear through the headphones. If necessary, we will also perform a bone conduction hearing assessment by placing a bone vibrator behind your ear. The results will provide us with a clearer picture of the type of hearing loss.

Speech Audiometry in Quiet and in Noise

We listen with our brains. While our peripheral hearing organs detect beeps, it is our brains that play the central role in understanding and making sense of conversations. During the speech audiometry assessment, you will hear conversations both in quiet and noisy environments. The results will help us tailor your hearing care journey moving forward.
