We attended Diagnostic Hearing Services for the first time in September this year for my dad’s hearing aids. Renata was our Audiologist and she was amazing. She explained everything to us and his options. The clinic has a lovely and calm atmosphere where you’re not rushed to make a decision. Dad has worn hearing aids for 10 years and this time he went for Phonak Sphere. The difference is amazing. He would have found his old hearing aids uncomfortable in social situations, but with the Phonak Sphere they adjust the background noise to a comfortable level for him to be able to hear everything. It has changed his life completely. Also being from the West of Ireland we found the clinic very accessible with a bus straight from Connolly Station. I would recommend 100%

Very professional team of specialists in hearing exams – I did the test for my 2 years old twins when I was suspecting they could have hearing problems – the team were very caring and patients with my kids giving the time they need for the test.

I attended earlier this month with my toddler, who was being assessed for hearing issues. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I was given excellent instructions as to what preparations were needed and we met by such friendly staff upon arrival. The testing itself was very thorough and the audiologist (Nicole) was wonderful with my little boy. I thought I was going deaf and was suffering from ringing in my ears. With about 15 minutes of cleaning, my hearing has been completely restored and the ringing in my ears almost gone. An extra visit next week to complete the cleaning will hopefully complete my recovery

I attended diagnostic audiology as it was recommended by the Mater Hospital. My hearing was assessed by Renata she was so professional explaining everything to me regarding my hearing loss and the hearing aids and gave me plenty of time to ask questions.
I had difficulty hearing in social situations that were noisy eg cafes, coffee shops and choir practice and I was beginning to lose my confidence the difference the hearing aids has made to my life in a short space of time is significant.I feel more included and confident when I meet people because I can hear I am very grateful to Renata and Anne for their help and advice I would definitely recommend DHS. I am only sorry I didn’t get assessed sooner as I was reluctant to have hearing aid but I am so happy with the improvement in my hearing and the ongoing support that is available if I need it. Many thanks to all the team.
