Hearing deterioration can happen at any age, and if you have noticed any difficulties it might be beneficial to have your hearing assessed. Signs of hearing loss can be easily overlooked as they can happen gradually over time.

Have you noticed the TV getting a little louder, or are you hearing people’s voices without the clarity of speech? Have you been avoiding loud and busy places because you’re missing out on conversations? These signs could indicate hearing loss. However, before scheduling a full hearing assessment, we would like to hear your concerns first.

Puretone Audiometry

This test is conducted in a soundproof booth or room. You will hear beeps of different pitches and tones at various intensities, and we will determine the softest sounds you can hear through the headphones. If necessary, we will also perform a bone conduction hearing assessment by placing a bone vibrator behind your ear. The results will provide us with a clearer picture of the type of hearing loss.

Speech Audiometry in Quiet and in Noise

We listen with our brains. While our peripheral hearing organs detect beeps, it is our brains that play the central role in understanding and making sense of conversations. During the speech audiometry assessment, you will hear conversations both in quiet and noisy environments. The results will help us tailor your hearing care journey moving forward.
